This article reads like, "Yeah OK, the Israeli government is responsible for atrocious human rights violations, but let's me tell you about the real problem: semantics."
People use bad comparisons, fine. Sometimes terrible comparisons even. But especially with what's happening right now, I'd argue that injustice in action is far deeper a problem than injustice in language.
You ask an interesting question at the end of your article: What would you like to see happen? You admit there are issues, but then create a straw man argument rather than propose something or create room for dialogue. I hope you use your depth of knowledge on this subject more productively in future works.
